This was a competition held by ArcBazar to design a Warm-Modern style house in the United States, aiming at promoting both functionality and aesthetics. This project aimed to create a warm and inviting contemporary home that seamlessly blends with the surrounding nature, thereby extending the living space outdoors. The design focuses on showcasing natural beauty while also incorporating some contrasting elements to add visual interest.

The choice of natural materials for the façade, namely stone and wood, is not only visually stunning but also environmentally conscious. By using these products that have a harmonious structure in their native forests, we are preserving nature's beauty while enhancing our own surroundings. The durability and timelessness of these elements add value to any building they adorn. Therefore, it is essential to consider incorporating natural products into your construction plans for a sustainable yet aesthetically pleasing outcome.

In this project, we worked on plans, sections, elevations and 3D renderings to create a comprehensive design that reflects the aesthetic style sought by the client. Addition to facade and landscape design we also worked on the layout and functionality of the interior spaces to ensure that they are efficient, comfortable and visually pleasing.

Thanks to the difference in elevation on the land, it enabled the living room and kitchen area to have high ceilings. On the bottom floor, common areas with the kitchen and living room were created and direct connections with the garden were provided. Areas where you can spend pleasant times in both indoor and outdoor environments with the crowds were designed. On the upper floors, more private and quiet areas such as bedrooms and study rooms are planned.

Sketchup and Lumion were used for visualization process. In projects with limited time, Lumion is practical and fast. Furthermore, Photoshop was utilized during the post-production stage to enhance the final output. These tools helped us showcase our work.
